Spicy Hot Balti Lamb

Serves 6

Heat oil over a high heat in a large pan and fry onion for 2/3 minutes, add mushrooms and cook for a further 2/3 minutes.  Add lamb and cook for 5 minutes.

Add chillies, nutmeg, fennel seeds and black onion seeds and stir fry for 2 minutes.  Add the peppers and Balti sauce and continue to cook for 10/15 minutes until lamb is tender.

Just before serving, stir in the fresh coriander and lemon juice.  Taste and adjust seasoning.

Garnish with coriander sprigs.

Serve with Naan bread.
